Vaya sí lo es, el mismísimo Barón Pierre de Coubertín, el Padre de la organización deportiva mundial y precursor de los Juegos Olímpicos modernos, era tirador, y muy bueno, fue campeón de Francia en siete oportunidades, logrando el primer titulo a los 21 años de edad.. La fundación de las federaciones nacionales deportivas en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, motivó la reanudación de los Juegos Olímpicos en la era moderna.
